Welcome from Lamar Christian School, and thank you for visiting our website! At Lamar Christian School, we strive to teach "the way of the Savior" on a daily basis. Coupled with strong academic and athletic programs, LCS is a vaunted educational institution in the Pine Belt. We are a member of the MidSouth Association of Independent Schools.

Our theme verse this year is Colossians 2:6-7: "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving."

Paired with our theme verse, our keynote phrase this year is #ElevateYourRole. Everyone has a God-given role and a circle of influence. Because we are image-bearers of God, our daily walk with Him is valuable, no matter our status or title. Staying "rooted and built up in Him," we can capitalize on our daily conversations and activities that we may perceive as mundane. "Abounding with thanksgiving," we can love and serve those in our circle of influence. We can make the most to impact the lives of others for God's kingdom.

God has called each of us to use every part of our lives as a ministry to Him and others. That is my desire for our students, families, and staff for the 2026-2027 school year.
